As a result of overwhelming requests from our instructors, we've improved extensions in WebAssign for better usability and flexibility for instructors.

Key benefits & changes:

  • Better Usability: We've simplified the language and layout of extensions to make it clear how long students will have to request an extension after the due date, as well as the extension length.
  • More Flexibility: You can now allow students to request extensions beyond 14 days — until the end of class.

We've released newly redesigned assignment preview screens in WebAssign. These pages now have a consistent look across different pages in WebAssign, using a similar look and feel to the new assignment editor as well as the student experience.

You can access these pages by selecting 'view' next to any assignment on your assignments list or clicking 'preview' after creating an assignment in the assignment editor.
