Scott Rudeen

I'm currently an adjunct faculty member at Kean University. Previously, I taught in the Criminal Justice Online Division at Broadview University. I have 10 years of teaching and seven years of instructional design experience, in online, residential, and hybrid formats. I also have over 20 years' experience working in the Criminal Justice field and am currently a Minnesota State Trooper.

I use MindTap in my Criminal Justice classes because it provides an interactive learning environment that thoroughly engages my students. This style of learning increases retention and allows my students to learn from a variety of material. They're able to grasp the concepts better through the use of the MindTap material.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement and my Master in Law Enforcement Management from Metropolitan State University. I also earned two more Master degrees from Globe University: MA with an emphasis in Leadership and MBA with emphasis in Human Resources, Marketing, and Public Administration. I have a PhD (ABD) in Education with an emphasis in Youth Violence from Capella University.
