Robert Tenuta — Robert Morris University

"MindTap and its features are a great supplemental teaching tool for students who want to work at their own pace and on their schedule!"

Dr. Tenuta is a Professor in the School of Business and the Morris Graduate School of Business at Robert Morris University Illinois where he teaches senior-level courses on business strategy and human resource management. He holds an MBA and MSMOB from Benedictine University and a Ph.D. from Cardinal Stritch University.

In addition to his teaching role, Bob is also a Senior Fellow for the University's professional development entity for faculty and staff, leading workshops in classroom management and andragogical best practices, onboarding new faculty and developing strategic programming aligning with the University's long-range plan. With the increasing need for student persistence, the University-wide initiative allows for an integral course component that employs experience-based leaning (EbL) utilizing the resources inside and outside of a classroom. In addition, because of the progressive pace of the academic schedule, working and returning adult evening students are able to be enrolled in full-time courses known as the adult evening model (AEM).

Bob has found success with Mindtap and its features to be a great supplemental tool for students in various business courses who can work at their own pace, participate in problem- and case-based learning, utilize chapter videos and take advantage, exclusively, of the e-book. MindTap's benefits have been especially useful for AEM. The integration with Blackboard is an excellent time-saver.
