Zachary Machunda
I have considerable experience in using MindTap and Aplia to teach Principles of Economics courses. I began using Aplia in 2002 and MindTap in 2005, in order to raise student engagement and success in learning introductory economics, at Minnesota State University Moorhead, Minnesota, where I taught Principles of Economics for 16 years. When I joined the Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics at North Dakota State University, in fall 2015, I was undeterred in delivering the benefits to my students of the integration of Blackboard and MindTap. In spring 2016, I embarked on Blackboard integration with MindTap for my face-to-face course in Principles of Microeconomics. I began fall semester of 2017 with Blackboard and MindTap Integration for all of my three introductory economics courses.
I am a Lecturer in Principles of Economics in the Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics at North Dakota State University, Fargo, North Dakota. I hold a Ph.D. degree in Economic Geography and Public Policy and an M.A. degree in Economics, both from Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana. I have reviewed four book manuscripts in introductory economics.
