Vicky Milstead

I'm a Lead Instructor/Lab Coordinator for the Child and Family Development Program at Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas. I have been teaching at Angelina College since 1996. My Bachelor of Science in Education with a Minor in Elementary Education degree and Master of Education with a Minor in Early Childhood Education degree was obtained from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. The Quality Matters, Teaching Online Certificate and Blackboard Exemplary Course Certificate was awarded in 2018. I hold two lifetime Texas Teacher Certificates – Pre-K through 6-th grade and Elementary Self-Contained PK-6. Additional graduate work has been completed in Professional Educational Studies as well.
    
Since August 2017, I have used MindTap in all 10 of my program courses in face-to-face, hybrid and online. The easy use of MindTap allows the student to focus on the course content and increase student engagement, which in turn helps boost achievement.
    
I’m always open to new ways of teaching and learning to ensure student success in their educational endeavors. MindTap is an outstanding tool for instructors and students.
