Tracy Zanolini
I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Drexel University in 2006 and my Master of Science Degree in Mathematics from UNC Charlotte in 2007. After spending some time teaching in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District, I began teaching Mathematics at Rowan Cabarrus Community College in the Spring of 2011. I teach Precalculus Algebra, Precalculus Trigonometry, Calculus I, Probability and Statistics, as well as our Precalculus Algebra Corequisite course.
I played a lead role in developing the course materials for our Precalculus Corequisite course and the faculty handbook that goes with it. In addition, I partnered with Cengage to create the custom Precalculus textbook we use at RCCC that was designed to support the corequisite model.
The ability to customize the student experience in WebAssign is important to me as it provides the foundation to develop a course that encourages students to work through the content in a way that will promote their learning of the material.
I am excited to work with fellow educators as a faculty partner to support my belief in the importance of being a lifelong learner. Together, we can find new and innovative ways to reach our students and support their success both in and out of the classroom.
