Hi! I'm Terri Devlin and I'm an instructor of Computer and Information Sciences at Aims Community College in Colorado. I graduated from King's College (Wilkes-Barre, PA), and started my career as a computer programmer in the banking industry. I joined Hewlett Packard (HP) and worked as an engineer and manager in Information Technology, Research and Development, and Marketing. My teaching career began in 2017 with Aims. Aims is where I was introduced to the Cengage SAM and MindTap solutions. The Cengage products have been instrumental in helping me be an effective instructor.

Coming from the computer industry, I believe computer skills, technical skills, problem solving skills, and people skills are critical. Technology and the global economy are evolving quickly, and these skills will be valuable for students in just about any career path they pursue.

I am energized by sharing my knowledge with students and instructors alike, and I am excited by learning and trying out new ideas.

My husband and I share a love for the outdoors, traveling when possible. I keep a garden, and continually pursue and create new recipes for the home-grown vegetables!
