The best decision I made was to join the faculty at Chattahoochee Technical College (CTC) in Marietta, GA. I have been an instructor at CTC for the four years plus. My areas of focus are Programming and Web Development. Partnering with Cengage has been very rewarding.

I advocated for the adoption of MindTap for our Program Design and Development course to provide more value to our students. MindTap affords me the opportunity to have the concepts taught reinforced with use of their tools (animations, flashcard, flowcharts, etc.). MindTap also provides a sandbox or playground environment for students to readily apply programming concepts, while boosting their confidence in the understanding of the material. The ReadSpeaker tool in the digital text is a plus for students that get bored easily from reading. It allows them to listen to the information as an alternative.

My educational background includes a Master of Science in Information Systems from Kennesaw State University and a Master in Business Administration from George State University. Teaching comes naturally to me but the availability of products like MindTap makes it even more exciting. I am now equipped with so many resources and tools to promote student engagement and match their preferred learning style. I could not ask for more!
