I absolutely love teaching economics! I’ve been teaching various economics courses at universities and community colleges for over 20 years, recently as a full-time instructor and previously as an adjunct while working a full-time job. My passion for teaching economics began in graduate school when I was a private tutor. I quickly learned how to explain difficult concepts to non-economic majors who thought economics was a foreign language they were required to pass.
   
I’ve taught 100 percent online, remote (live online), hybrid, blended and face-to-face courses. I prefer to teach face-to-face. The interaction with students is rewarding and I like making a personal connection with students. It’s a joy to see their faces light up when a challenging concept finally makes sense.
   
After COVID more of my courses have transitioned online. I keep that personal connection with students by creating my own short videos to integrate with Mankiw's Cengage MindTap resources. Students tell me the course design is easy to navigate and learn. They especially like the videos that accompany each chapter and I like the self-graded assignments and quizzes.
