Stacie Dobson

I am a native of Durham, North Carolina and hold an Undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, Masters of Science degree in Computer Information Technology - Winston-Salem State University, and a Masters of Education - North Carolina State University.

I have over 15 years of experience in education in both K-12 as well as higher educations. I have served as a teacher, academic facilitator, testing coordinator, and Career and Technical Education department lead. It is my vision to embrace, cultivate, and enrich the lives of all students. As an educator, my philosophy has been shaped by my broader academic philosophy from many years of teaching experience.

As I reflect on my beliefs of teaching and learning, I believe a school is a community of scholars who exist to synthesize teaching, research and service. Thus, these principals have helped me grow in my love of teaching and learning. Therefore, with my results of teaching with clarity, passion, and enthusiasm I will continue to connect my students to their passion and their lifelong learning.
