Sharon Alston
I am an assistant professor of social work in the Ethelyn R Strong School of Social Work at Norfolk State University. I received an undergraduate degree from George Mason University and hold an MSW and PhD in social work from Howard University. I have over 10 years of teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. My primary courses are research methods and human behavior. My teaching research interest is in the scholarship of teaching and learning with a focus on identifying effective pedagogical approaches for social work education.
