
Phyllis Davis
I am an Associate Professor of Information Systems at St. Louis Community College (STLCC).In this role, I teach highly collaborative and interactive technology courses including Computer Literacy, Computer Applications from beginning to advance, Windows 10, Cybersecurity and Information Systems Management courses.
I am the founder and manager of our hands-on and experiential learning Technical Support Center. The Technical Support Center provides free hardware and software solutions for students, faculty and staff personal technology devices. The Technical Support Center was named STLCC Innovation of the Year award in 2017. In addition to my classroom commitment, I have served as a SGA club advisor for over 7 years. I was name a club advisor of the year and my club has earned 3 club of the year awards.
Prior to joining St. Louis Community College I was an advanced computer and robotics instructor for the United Autoworkers (UAW) Region 5 Training Center. I also worked at the St. Louis Metropolitan Sewer District as an Instrumentation and Controls Specialist. I have more than 20+ years of hardware and software support, progressive technology, training, education, and management experience.
