I'm a full-time professor and department co-chair of Business Administration and Accounting at Norco College (part of the Riverside Community College District) in Southern California. I started teaching at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1996. Prior to teaching I co-owned a parachute manufacturing company, where we designed and manufactured non-personnel parachutes for the Department of the Defense.

I use CengageNOW (CNOW) Version 2 for Financial and Managerial Accounting and CNOW Version 1 for Taxation and Payroll Accounting. With its visually stimulating content and variety of study tools, CNOW has engaged students. They enjoy the digital content and, especially, the immediate feedback they don't get from a textbook. The product's eLectures and demo exercises make it easy for students to have around-the-clock access to narratives outside of the classroom, while I appreciate the system's ability to create specialized assignments and review data analytics.

I have a Bachelor's degree from UCSB in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Accounting and Economics, an MBA from Cal Poly Pomona and completed coursework towards my PhD at the Claremont Graduate University.
