I'm a biologist, writer and presenter, conducting large and mega lecture classes both in person and online. I specialize in non-majors Biology and teach at San Jose State University. Our school is an urban campus that serves almost 30,000 students each year.
It is essential that my digital solution saves me time, be completely customizable, and be reliable. MindTap meets these criteria. Its interactive, web-based homework activities keep students engaged in the online environment while allowing me to have access to a robust set of resources to support my lecture.
It is an essential part of collegiate responsibility to share knowledge and best practices, which is why I am so excited to be a part of the Faculty Partner Network. Faculty will know best what faculty need or want.
I hold a Master of Science degree from CSU- San Jose, and in 2013, I became one of 15 faculty members to receive a Salzburg Fellowship to help promote the globalization of the SJSU campus.
