
Marjorie Anderson
I am the Cybersecurity and Information Systems Department Chair at Casper College. I oversee the Cybersecurity, Web Design & Development, and Office Management programs, as well as managing the Flex Lab. I teach software classes, including the Microsoft Office suite programs; Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher in the Flex Lab. She teaches Excel, Access, Computer Information Systems, Professional Development and Data Analytics in either hybrid or online modalities.
Marjorie redesigned Casper College’s separate Web Design and Web Development degrees into a single program, Web Design & Development. She has also developed a Data Analytics class using the Tableau Data software. She is working toward creating a Cyberlab that will give instructors the opportunity to provide students with dark web projects in a secure, monitored environment.
Marjorie started at Casper College as an adjunct computer instructor in 2013. In 2017, she was offered a full-time instructor position. In 2018, she became the Department Chair. Prior to working at CC, Marjorie worked in Oil & Gas, as a business editor, did marketing projects using Google AdWords, social media marketing and search engine optimization. Marjorie is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Wyoming, working on her dissertation to finish an Ed.D. Instructional Technology degree.
