Lisa Hildebrandt
I have been full-time faculty in the mathematics department at Warren County Community College since 2007. In that time, I have primarily taught Statistics, College Algebra, Business Math, and remedial math courses.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Mansfield University in Mathematics, with an emphasis on Statistics, and my master’s degree from Penn State University in Adult Education. I have presented research at the Adult Education Research Conference, New Jersey Council of County Colleges Best Practices Conference, 3 years at the Faculty of the Future (Bucks CC) Conference, and 3 years at NISOD International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence.
At WCCC, I have worked on the Program Review/Outcomes Assessment Committee, provided faculty mentorship to the Educational Opportunity Fund Program recipients, promoted adjunct development through offering individual help, and advised three clubs: EOF Club, Campus Crusade for Christ, and Habitat for Humanity. I was a member of the New Jersey Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
WCCC adopted Cengage as the provider of our texts in 2019. Since that time, I have become proficient at WebAssign. I have learned how to create and copy courses, how to set up due dates and restrictions, and how to help students and adjuncts best navigate as they are beginning. I am proficient in using SALT as well.
