I teach at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). I have been teaching since August 2009. The main courses I teach are Basic Statistics and Business Statistics with Computer Applications, but have also taught Biostatistics and Applied Statistics. I teach an average of 800 students per semester. Since been given the larger classes, I have utilized the integration of WebAssign as part of the curriculum. These courses are traditionally demanding and challenging coursers for students in the time and dedication it takes to succeed.

 In 2018, I developed online sections of both classes I teach with the help of Cengage products and WebAssign. WebAssign has been a huge impact on the course itself. It has alleviated a lot of the time consuming components in teaching such as creating assignments and grading with its built in test banks from various textbooks so now I am able to focus more time on helping students and setting up office hours to work through questions. Since the implantation of WebAssign into these courses, I have seen student success increase and positive feedback in regards to the structure of the courses.

I received a BS in Mathematics with emphasis in Mathematical Finance and Insurance from the University of Missouri in 2007. I received a MS in Statistics from UTSA in 2009.
