I have been teaching for over 14 years, and teach at several local colleges and universities in San Diego, CA.  Over these years I have taught financial and managerial accounting, introduction to business, international business and computer science information systems.  I am well versed in the integration of digital technology tools in both Canvas and Blackboard.  I have served as a consultant to instructors implementing digital products, and have seen many diverse ways of utilizing technology to engage students and enhance their learning experience.

I am IC3 certified and currently working on my MOS certification.  I use Cengage digital tools in with great success.  SAM gives my students the opportunity to learn about Microsoft products in a way that eases them into learning from the basics to advanced skills.  This new knowledge will complement their education and career moving forward.  SAM makes it easy for them to learn and gives them the right amount of information to succeed in learning.  

While I’ve been positioning and implementing SAM for years, this is the first time I have had the opportunity to actually TEACH using SAM. Now that I am using it on my own students I can truly see the advantages of learning in this way and the students are learning so much about all the MS products with little effort.  They are completing projects and doing things in the products for the first time.  Many had never even touched Excel and they are now creating very complex and fancy spreadsheets!
