I am a mathematics instructor at Dougherty Valley High School in the San Ramon Valley Unified School district.  I have been teaching high school mathematics for 25 years and have taught at community college extension center for 2 years. I currently teach Advanced Placement Calculus AB and Precalculus and serve as a co-curricular lead for the math department.  

After seeing Enhanced WebAssign used effectively with the Physics students in my former school in Los Angeles, I was excited to have the opportunity to pilot EWA with our AP Calculus AB and Calculus students. With the pilot being successful we were able to incorporate the use of EWA into all of our Accelerated Algebra 2, Precalculus, Honors Precalculus, Calculus, and Advanced Placement Calculus AB and BC courses. It has been a joy to work with teachers in the other high schools in our district to help them implement Enhanced WebAssign into their courses as well. I have had the opportunity to facilitate many training sessions on the use of Enhanced WebAssign, as well as give one-on-one support on how to effectively give online assessments in a high school setting, to how to use the "Class Insight" reports and built in resources to with student intervention.
