Josh Robinson
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Collat School of Business at the University of Alabama at Birmingham—UAB. My main area of research is health economics, with an emphasis on health behaviors and the effects of health on human capital development. I also do research on health inequality, applied econometrics and law and economics. I regularly teach courses in Behavioral Economics, Econometrics and the Principles of Microeconomics using Mankiw and MindTap.
I enjoy MindTap because I like to customize the look and feel of my course in ways that help my students stay organized and understand the material in context. I also love that my students can get feedback while working on assignments instead of waiting for office hours. Since I began using MindTap, not only have I noticed average test scores improving, I've also seen the variance in scores drop by nearly a third.
