John Jernigan

I have been teaching Mathematics at the Community College of Philadelphia for over 20 years, as well as at Temple University, The University of the Arts, and Widener University. I have taught a variety of classes including developmental courses, calculus, analysis and probability. I have used WebAssign for Calculus Distance ed for over 15 years.


WebAssign allowed me to transition from in class to online smoothly in Spring 2020. I was also able to share my courses with other faculty so we could adjust quickly. Fall 2020 I used it exclusively for all my courses. My students find WebAssign engaging and friendly. This will be especially important when we cannot be face to face.
 
I am continuing to work with colleagues using WebAssign. I hope to become more proficient at writing and editing questions now that technology has made such a large impact on how students approach mathematics.
