Janina Nobles, Ph.D.
I am a full-time instructor and program advisor at Bevill State Community College where I teach courses in Child Development and Psychology. I earned a doctorate in Community College Leadership from Mississippi State University and have completed post-doctorate studies at both The University of Alabama and Arkansas State University. In addition, I hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Human Environmental Sciences from The University of Alabama. I am passionate about providing high quality educational opportunities for all students and have been working in education for nearly two decades. My entire professional career has been dedicated to serving students and families across the southeastern region. I am an advocate for children’s rights and policies that positively impact children. I am active in my community and currently serves on numerous committees charged with improving learning conditions and outcomes for students. I am a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA).
