I teach Elementary and Intermediate Spanish courses at Northwest Mississippi Community College DeSoto Center campus just south of Memphis. I teach traditional and fully online courses utilizing both Canvas (LMS) and MindTap. Typically, I lead 8-9 classes per semester, 5-6 face to face and 3 fully online. I was a longtime i-Lrn user but now use MindTap.

I am one of the longest users of MindTap World Languages in the country and have been involved with MindTap since Fall 2017 when it debuted at ACTFL. I piloted MindTap in Spring 2018 and have hosted numerous trainings and webinars on its setup and implementation. I love the five step learning path and customization of the product. My students praise the ease of access and the organization of MindTap along with the side by side view. I have been recognized for my excellence in teaching, presenting, and advocating for World Languages. I have served as the president of the Mississippi Foreign Language Organization, president of Southeast Association on Language Learning Technolgy, and present and participate in state, regional and national organizations.
