Gwendoline Selis Aaron
I am a Senior Lecturer of French at Southern Methodist University, in the World Languages and Literatures Department. I currently coordinate the first-year French courses: Beginning French (first and second semesters), Beginning French with review (covering first and second semesters) and Intermediate French (first semester).
I started using iLrn in 2007, and I’ve developed my first fully online language course in 2017. Piloting the new MindTap for French in the fall of 2018 was a wonderful experience. I taught with the first edition of Atelier+MT and I enjoyed observing its amazing effect on students’ engagement in my Web-enhanced face-to-face course. MindTap does much more than introducing students to the new material; it gives them the tools to become more self-directed.
I have a Master’s degree in Education Sciences from the University of Liège, in Belgium, and received a Master’s degree in French at the University of North Texas.
