I love teaching! As the world changes, engaging students in active learning is more critical and yet more challenging. Having useful tools makes my job as an educator easier, leaving me more time to be creative and relevant. I use Mindtap in my business communication course for graded grammar quizzes and many non-graded practice opportunities. For instance, students can practice their upcoming speeches using Bongo, or practice chapter quizzes to prepare for exams. When students feel prepared, they have the confidence to learn new things.
   
   It’s not always easy learning new things, even for a faculty member! I’ve appreciated the easy access to resources through Cengage, including the Instructor website and the friendly Support staff. When I don’t know how to do something within my course, my rep or the chat feature has been helpful in getting me on track and teaching me what I need to know to be a leader for my students. I’ve easily set Zoom meetings to visit, or gotten responses to my email questions. I’d like to be that resource for you so you can do the job of educating the next generation of great thinkers.
