Sometimes our greatness can scare us. We need to walk into our future boldly and unapologetically. I am passionate about assisting others in our community to elevate and become the best possible version of themselves as they find out what their greatness looks like. I have a visionary spirit and passion for youth development and community building through innovative inspiring programming and effective education platforms.

I am an adjunct professor, youth development specialist and strategist consultant with an M.Ed. from Cambridge College. These facts are only a small part of my story. I’ve committed over thirty-nine years of service to urban education, programming, and community outreach. I have spent the greater part of my life advocating for holistic youth development and positive change in the education landscape for our most challenged community members. This has occurred through rallies, public events, mentoring, youth programming/ workshops and collaborations all aimed to create equal and impactful educational and life opportunities regardless of a person’s background or station in life.

As an adjunct professor at Essex County College I utilize MindTap for my course. The online learning platform provides seamless Moodle integration and provides great digital content, tools, and product support. Best of all it encourages elevated student engagement and allows me to achieve the type of student-centered instruction necessary to meet our diverse community needs.
