Christina Flores

I am currently an Associate Professor in the English, World Languages and INRW Department at Palo Alto College in San Antonio, Texas. I have served with the Alamo Colleges since 2011 in addition to various academic position within San Antonio area institutions. I obtained a B.A. and M.A. in English and an Ed.D. in Higher and Postsecondary education.

My dissertation focus was on course design and instructor support to promote student success. Throughout my time in postsecondary education, I have worked in various positions within and outside of the classroom to include the Writing Lab, SACSCOC Quality Enhancement Plan, Collaborative Online International Learning, Program Design, Student Mentoring, and Faculty Development. These various roles have enhanced my work in the classroom by creating room for discovery, innovation, and growth.
