Bob DuBois
I am an experienced instructor of psychology, ethics, critical thinking, research methods, statistics, and college success. I am a frequent speaker on the transformation of students to learners and instructors to learning facilitators and I use a variety of high, low, and no tech tools to help students master course competencies.
Dr. Bob DuBois is a first generation college graduate and earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at Marquette University in 2013. Previously, Dr. Bob earned master’s degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Western Kentucky University and Counseling Psychology at The University of Texas at Tyler.
Dr. Bob joined UT in 2019 after serving as a full-time instructor at Waukesha County Technical College in Wisconsin for 11 years. While at WCTC, he championed the Classroom Learning Team and Quality Matters Implementation Team and also initiated the campus’ Online Learning Technology Advisory Team. Prior to teaching, he worked in industry as a researcher and consultant in human factors engineering and personnel psychology. He is an advocate for suicide prevention and a frequent presenter on topics related to teaching and learning.
