Beth Ryan

I am an Associate Professor of Instruction for Columbia College Chicago in the Business and Entrepreneurship department. Our program prepares students with the business skills they need to succeed in the creative industries. I teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Management, Leadership, Strategic Planning, and Organizational Behavior.

    

As a course coordinator for Introduction to Management and Entrepreneurship, I selected MindTap for our multi-section course to have consistency across sections and continuity of student experiences. Students like the digital text function for accessibility and the interactivity of the software. They are digital natives! It took faculty time to adopt and embrace using digital text and resources, yet once converted, we have success with faculty and students.

    

I am happy to share my experience with other faculty and brainstorm innovative and active ways to engage students using MIndTap.
