Connecting with employers can be difficult for students, especially in a competitive job market. That’s why Cengage established Employer Connection: a partnership with major industry employers that gives students direct access to job opportunities. It’s our way of powering student success beyond the classroom straight into their careers.


How Employer Connection Works

Step 1

Employers recruited to join program.

Step 2

Students taking Cengage or ed2go courses opt-in to Employer Connection.

Step 3

Resumes, student certifications, competencies, test scores and other info is made available to Employer Connection partners.

Step 4

Employers view candidates and build talent pipeline for open positions.

Step 5

Qualified students are interviewed—and potentially hired!

Students choose whether to share their course grades and outcomes, but do not have to do so. Further, student data is securely stored separately from the MindTap and ed2go platforms, and participants can opt out at any time.
