FOCUS on College Success: Student Essay Contest!

Tell us about your own experiences as a first year student and you could win an iPod® Shuffle!

Wadsworth Cengage Learning is proud to sponsor the FOCUS ON COLLEGE SUCCESS Student Essay Contest! This contest is open to all students who take a college success course during the 2007-2008 academic year. To enter, submit a brief essay (500-1000 words) to your college success instructor, addressing one of the following questions:

• What is the biggest challenge you have faced during your first year in college, and how has what you’ve learned in your college success course helped you to overcome that challenge?

• How have the perceptions you once had of college life differed from your actual experiences during your first year of college?

Five winners will be chosen by July 1st, 2008 and each will receive a free iPod® Shuffle! Each corresponding instructor will win a $100 Amazon.com gift card!

Submissions are due to your college success instructor by April 15th, 2008.
