Have questions? Whether you're a current Cengage author or exploring a partnership with us, these FAQs offer answers to common questions about authoring, royalties, tax documents and more.
If you are interested in working with Cengage to create or develop textbooks, online learning platforms or supporting materials, please complete our intake form. If interested, we'll reach out shortly.
The Cengage Portal is where you can access your Royalty statements. To set up your account, reset your password or request other help around your Portal access, please refer to the Royalties page.
Tax documents aren't available in the Cengage Portal. For questions about 1099s or international tax documents, fill out the Royalties Contact form and select Taxes (1099 or International) as the category.
To update your mailing address, contact name, email address or direct deposit information, email [email protected] and include the following:
Your name
Your company name (if applicable)
Your email address
Your vendor number (found in the lower right corner of your statement)
Reason for request
Do not include sensitive information, such as SSN or banking information, in your email.
You'll receive an email from MS Vendors ([email protected]) that includes links to the required forms and a secure link for uploading the completed forms. Please check your junk/spam folder just in case.
- Complete the Assignment of Royalties Form
- Get the complete form notarized by an official Notary Public or Notary Service
- Email your completed and notarized form to: [email protected]
Do not include death certificates, wills or sensitive information such as SSN or banking information.
