After 15+ years working in healthcare in various specialties and positions, including management, Donna Sue Shellman is now the Program Coordinator and an Instructor in Medical Office Administration at Gaston College in Dallas, NC. She has degrees in Medical Assisting (AAS) from Gaston College, Business Administration (BA) from Belmont Abbey College, Educational Media (MA) and Higher Education Administration (EdS), both from Appalachian State University.
Donna is using MindTap for multiple coding courses; she feels that MindTap brings the coding to life and provides instant feedback for students, especially those students learning in an online environment, but also those students working on assignments outside of class. In addition, MindTap brings the course content to life, taking what can be boring concepts and making them interesting. Donna enjoys using technology to facilitate the learning process!
