My master Introductory Office 2013 SAM course is used at Quinsigamond Community College as the model for all instructors.
I have been an Adjunct Professor of technology-based courses off and on for over 30 years while running a software design consulting firm. This includes a full-time course load for the past 12 years in the state college and university system of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Cengage Learning product lines have always been a part of my courses, including print versions of Competency, Technology and Office from the Shelly, New Perspectives and Illustrated series. For the last two years, my focus has been on the SAM 2013 system for Microsoft Office-based products.
Since I have been using the Shelly Introductory and Advanced Office 2013 texts, my courses have been interfaced to the point where they are now fully self-contained within SAM. My master Introductory Office 2013 SAM course is used at Quinsigamond Community College as the model for all instructors. My other variations include Intro and Advanced Office SAM courses, which include projects from the Shelly, New Perspectives, Illustrated and CMPTR (which I continue to hone prior to full release in a class). I also use a single SAM model that can be offered as a traditional, online or hybrid course with an alteration to the support methodology only.
My next effort, which is in development, is to create a SAM-based Introduction to Computer Technologies course utilizing multiple Cengage Learning resources.
