I currently teach Business Law and related courses at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota.
I helped create the blueprint portion of MindTap for Business Law as a result of my research interest scaffolding a pedagogical tool in which the instructor provides hints and cues to help students learn legal analysis. The Academy of Legal Studies in Business recognized the value of this tool and my contribution to its development through a research award and the Master Teacher Award at the 2014 national meeting of the ALSB.
Prior to undergraduate teaching, I was the Associate Dean at the University of South Dakota School of Law and taught legal writing at California Western School of Law. I graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law and practiced law in southern California before heading to academia.
