Carlos D. Mart nez, is a Spanish Lecturer at the University of Houston. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University in Spanish and continued to pursue a Master's Degree in Modern Language with an emphasis on U.S. Hispanic Literature. His work currently involves teaching the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Intermediate Spanish courses in various formats like hybrid, online and face-to-face. The student population at University of Houston is one of the most diverse in the country, and as a result, Carolos sees students from across the country, of all backgrounds and academic levels, who want to learn Spanish. He has taught for 12 years at various state universities, and is excited to see what technologies, innovations and materials continue to come about to help faculty and students achieve their objectives.
