About

Overview

Gemini was the second major project in the United States’ manned spaceflight effort. This title will examine each two-man mission to test equipment and techniques to be used by the later Apollo missions to the Moon. These include docking maneuvers and spacewalks, all untested before the Gemini missions. Will also examine the parallel space exploration efforts of the Soviet Union during this period. Aligned to Common Core Standards and correlated to state standards. Abdo & Daughters is an imprint of Abdo Publishing, a division of ABDO.<\P>
