Juno Salazar Parreñas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at The Ohio State University. She is the author of the forthcoming Decolonizing Extinction: Orangutan Rehabilitation and the Work of Care, and has a PhD in Anthropology from Harvard University.
