Data series in Datapedia cover the history of the United States from 1790 to 2003 and include select data projections through 2050.

Datapedia provides a complete and convenient profile of the Unites States covering all its vital sectors - including the labor market, social welfare, and national defense.

Each chapter in Datapedia covers a different subject - from agriculture to transportation - and provides east to read statistical tables of national-level data. Narrative highlights help users understand the significance of the historical data series and place the number in context. These highlights give information on data sources; explain the importance of certain sets of data; provide supplemental and state-level information; and where appropriate, are accompanied by maps and charts. In addition, statistical projections allow users to see how statistical patterns and trends are likely to continue and change throughout the next several years.
