What is NGLSync and why am I using it?

NGLSync is our access portal that allows teachers and students to access and manage their courses.

Through NGLSync, you have two main fulfillment options to meet your needs.

·       Option 1: Self-Registration - Teachers & Students can create their own user accounts and manage their courses

·       Option 2: Rostering - Working with our Digital Solutions Coordinators, we offer a wide variety of rostering processes and format, allowing districts to centrally manage their courses.

Where do I find the URL to register in NGLSync?

The URL can be found in your initial Digital Fulfillment email which was sent to the Tech Contact listed on your

order.  You can also reach out to your local Sales Consultant or Digital Engagement Consultant. To locate your Sales

How do I create an NGLSync teacher account?

How do I reset my student’s password?

My students keep getting a message that their trial access is expiring. How do I fix that?

If students are receiving a message indicating that their trial access is expiring, they are likely accessing their content

through Cengage Brain (login.cengage.com). Students should be accessing their content through

nglsync.cengage.com. If they haven’t registered for your course yet, please send them the course registration URL (you

can find those instructions on Page 10 of the NGLSync User Guide). If they have already registered, please have them

log in at nglsync.cengage.com and follow the on screen prompts.

How many seats do we have left in NGLSync for a specific product?

Individuals with an Administrator account can view the district’s entitlements by navigating to the “Manage Courses” tab

through NGLSync.cengage.com. For further details, please view the Administrator Guide. If no one at your district has

an Admin account, please reach out to your sales rep or Digital Engagement Consultant. To locate your Sales

I’m trying to register myself in NGLSync, but my school isn’t listed. How do I get it added?

I’m trying to create my OWLv2 course but am getting an error message stating “missing/invalid CNOW institution”. What should I do?
