Designed around the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Examination blueprint, CERTIFICATION EXAM REVIEW FOR DENTAL ASSISTING, is the only review manual dental assistants need to pass their certification exams. Content centers on how and what to study to pass a variety of state and regional exams. Exam-focused chapters cover general chairside assisting, infection control, and radiation safety with an emphasis on photos, procedures, and terminology. Content also lays a foundation for testing with an overview of the CDA, RHA, and ICE exams, study techniques and tips, and a discussion of other certifications offered by the DANB. Pre-tests offer exam questions on a particular topic with answers and rationales.
