Author Bio

Zhou Tianyong

Zhou Tianyong is currently deputy director of the Internal Strategy Research Office affiliated to the School of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and professor at the Beijing Science and Technology University. His main research interests include socialist economic theories, macroeconomics, economic development, labor economy, small- and medium-sized enterprises, financial risks, urbanization, the reform of state-owned enterprises, and the rural economy. He has published about 100 papers in academic journals such as Economic Research and Management World. His major publications include Labor and Economic Growth, The Destiny and Future of the Chinese Economy, To Break Through: A Report on the Reform of China’s Political System after the Seventeenth National Congress of the CPC, On the Key Issues in Reforming the State-owned Enterprises, and China: Economic Functioning and Structural Transition.
