J. Benton White (M.Th., Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary) was a founding faculty member of the Religious Studies Program at San Jose State University and Coordinator of the Program until his retirement in 1992. He was also an Adjunct Faculty member in Religious Studies at Santa Clara University from 1993 to 2002.

Walter T. Wilson (Ph.D. University of Chicago) is Associate Professor of New Testament at Candler School of Theology, Emory University.
