Designed for practicing critical hydraulic calculations, Basic Fire Hydraulics Workbook, combines graphics, concise explanations, and step-by-step examples and exercises to help both beginning and experienced pump operators learn to calculate quickly and accurately while under pressure on the fireground. The book begins with simple math concepts and progresses toward more complex topics, such as engine pressure, friction loss, and drafting operation. Realistic scenarios are incorporated into each unit to provide context for the various math calculations presented, and make this a handy companion to Hydraulics for Firefighting or any hydraulics book.
